"If you just know about any interviews or interesting videos you think we may not have heard about or be able to find ourselves— that would also be very helpful,” Apatow wrote on Instagram. “Or just tell us your favourite Norm [Macdonald] moments.”
Filmmaker Judd Apatow has started work on a documentary on the late Norm Macdonald for Netflix.
Apatow took to Instagram with a request for submissions of any "photos and videos of Norm Macdonald for a documentary we are making for @netflix."

Macdonald passed away at 61 in September 2021, nine years after a cancer diagnosis. He rose to prominence as a writer and cast member of Saturday Night Live in the mid-'90s. He had a prolific career acting in sitcoms, writing and performing stand-up, both appearing on and hosting talk shows, and lending his voice to cartoons such as Seth Macfarlane's Family Guy.

"No one was funnier than Norm Macdonald," Apatow wrote on social media following the comedian's passing. "Every time he was on television he was the funniest person on television. A massive loss."
Apatow previously directed on George Carlin's American Dream and The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling, both winning him Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Documentary.
He is known for directing hit comedy films like the Anchorman series and The 40 Year Old Virgin.
