Elvis arrives in Irish cinemas tomorrow.
Country singer Kacey Musgraves has released a slowed-down, melancholic cover of Elvis Presley's iconic 'Can't Help Falling in Love' alongside a compilation video from Baz Luhrmann's new biopic featuring a montage of scenes from the film showcasing Elvis Presley's, played by Austin Butler and Priscilla Presley's, played by Olivia DeJonge, complicated relationship.
The 'Rainbow' singer's version of the 1961 song is the most recent addition to the impressive Elvis soundtrack, which also includes 'Vegas' performed by Doja Cat, 'If I Can Dream' by 2021 Eurovision winners Måneskin, 'Cotton Candy Land' by Stevie Nicks, a remix of 'Edge of Reality' by Tame Impala, 'The King and I' by Eminem and CeeLo Green and many more. Musgrave first sang the ballad at this year's Met Gala, arriving with Luhrmann, Butler and Priscilla Presley.
After Luhrmann announced a biopic of The King in 2014, the film finally made its worldwide premiere in May at this year's Cannes Film Festival. The cast features Maggie Gyllenhaal (Donnie Darko), Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things), Tom Hanks who plays Elvis' longtime manager Colonel Tom Parker and Kodi Smit-McPhee (The Power Of The Dog).
