The Kick Ass and Marvel star is rumoured to take the helm of one UK's most iconic film franchises.
It has been reported that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been "formally offered the job" as the 007 spy, previously played by Daniel Craig.
Craig left the role in 2021 after starring in five films over 16 years.
The next bond film will be the 26th, and although no one is confirmed to play the iconic Scottish role, Taylor-Johnson has been heavily rumoured for the part.
The actor recently told Numero magazine he found it "charming and wonderful that people see me in that role", when asked about the rumours naming him as the next Bond.
"I take it as a great compliment," he added.

Taylor Johnson, 33, is known for staring in the John Lennon in the biopic Nowhere Boy, Nocturnal Animals, Anna Karenina and Avengers: Age Of Ultron.
The English actor is now favourite with the bookmakers to play the role.
In a report published by The Sun, a senior source said: "Bond is Aaron's job, should he wish to accept it."
The source added: "The formal offer is on the table and they are waiting to hear back."
"As far as Eon is concerned, Aaron is going to sign his contract in the coming days and they can start preparing for the big announcement."
Taylor-Johnson is "an incredibly talented actor," the source is also quoted as saying. They called him the "perfect person to play Bond and will pick up well from where Daniel Craig left off".
Since Daniel Craig's departure following the release of No Time To Die, speculation has mounted about who will become the seventh actor to play the spy in the official films.

Idris Elba was long tipped to take up the role, but the 51-year-old said in September that "disgusting" comments about his race put the actor off.
