Kneecap has scored four nominations at the London Critics’ Circle Film Awards, including Film Of The Year, Foreign Language Film Of The Year, British/Irish Film Of The Year and Breakthrough British/Irish Filmmaker for director Rich Peppiatt.
Sean Baker’s Anora and Brady Corbet’s The Brutalist, who are topping the nominations, each making it into seven categories. Conclave and The Substance both scored six nominations.
Emilia Pérez was nominated in five categories, while Mike Leigh’s Hard Truths scored four.
All aforementioned films are in the running for Film Of the Year, alongside All We Imagine As Light, La Chimera, Nickel Boys and Nosferatu.
Saoirse Ronan also scored a nomination in the Actress of the Year category for her role in The Outrun, alongside Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths), Nicole Kidman (Babygirl), Mikey Madison (Anora) and Demi Moore (The Substance), while Actor of the Year recognises Adrien Brody (The Brutalist), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown), Daniel Craig (Queer), Colman Domingo (Sing Sing) and Ralph Fiennes (Conclave).

The winners will be announced in an awards ceremony at London’s May Fair Hotel on February 2, 2025, hosted by critic Mark Kermode.
Most recently, Kneecap was announced as part of the shortlist for Best International Feature and Best Original Song Oscars, as well as scoring nominations at the Critics Choice Awards in the US.
They also took home even awards including Best British Independent Film at the British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) earlier this month.
