The film is out in cinemas on October 3rd.
In the build-up to the release of 'A Star Is Born', Warner Brothers have now revealed extensive details for the official soundtrack of the motion picture that is set to drop two days after the film on October 5th.
In a pair of videos released by the production company's YouTube page, the film's stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, as well as producer Mark Ronson and Lukas Nelson of Promise of the Real discuss how they created the sound within the film and consequently its official album.
Cooper's development from mere movie star to also being a competent musician is explored, elaborating on his vocal training as well as the process of discovering what he believed the guitar and overall sound of his character - Jackson Maine - should sound like.
Gaga, being an acclaimed music artist in her own right, was presented with different challenges in the making of her character Ally's voice. Used to writing her own music, she talks about having to write from the perspective of a different character, and establishing Ally's own unique sound that is separate from her own.

The film is Cooper's directorial debut, and is a remake of the original by the same name, which has also been adapted several times in the interim, most recently as a rock musical in 1976 starring Barbra Streisand, which this edition most closely resembles. The plot follows the relationship between Maine, a successful musician, and Ally, a struggling one, and how he provides her with a platform to flourish in her career through the trials and tribulations of their personal bond.
The album will come courtesy of Interscope Records on the 5th, and features 19 songs and 15 dialogue tracks in a bid to enable the record to properly give a listening experience that will mirror the arc of the film itself.
