The new single from Lana Del Rey was featured in the latest trailer for hit HBO drama series 'Euphoria'.
Lana Del Rey released her new single, 'Watercolor Eyes' ahead of its feature in the upcoming soundtrack for the HBO drama Euphoria.
A snippet of the moody track scored the latest trailer for the series, hinting at its inclusion in the third episode of the second season (January 23).
'Watercolor Eyes' exhibits the same ethereal, cinematic qualities Del Rey is known for. The dreamy single was produced by Drew Erickson and Nasri Atweh.
The full soundtrack for the second season of Euphoria will be released via Interscope on January 25. No other tracks have been announced, however a press release on the soundtrack reads "the forthcoming album will feature exclusive tracks designed to set the mood for new episodes of the Emmy-winning HBO drama series."
Del Rey is already releasing new music following her two 2021 albums, Chemtrails over the Country Club and Blue Banisters. The album debuted at No. 4 on the Official Irish Albums charts. The singer now has eight Top 5 albums in Ireland.
Hot Press' Kate Brayden commented on the singer's "introspective seventh album," Blue Banisters and the "raw songwriting" showcased throughout the 16 tracks.

"Piano accompaniment is the 36-year-old artist’s only tool - bar raw songwriting that digs deep into melancholia, failed romance and her circle of female friendships. Her relationships with women prove core to her survival, having had her identity stripped back by a new boyfriend, as described on ‘Violets for Roses’. Her penchant for Hollywood glamour, ennui and heartbreak remain, but del Rey is holding slightly less back," Brayden said.
