The documentary Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now is set for April 5th on Netflix, a little more than a month before the singer's second album Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent drops
The witty Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi has an exciting announcement: he's getting a Netflix special.
Set for April 5th, the documentary will follow the 26-year-old as he returns to his Scottish roots and reconnects with his family, friends, and the home life he left behind in his pursuit of his musical career.
Capaldi posted the announcement across his socials yesterday, along with a humorous video of him dressing up as various Netflix specials, like Bridgerton, Squid Game, and Wednesday. Ending with him dressed as himself in a sweatshirt and pants, it was a clear indication that he was now joining the streaming service's line-up.
"I've made a NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY!!! It's called How I'm Feeling Now and comes out on April 5th!"
"Pretty terrified for everyone to see this if I'm quite honest, but I'm so proud of it!"

Directed by BAFTA winner Joe Pearlman and presented by BMG, in association with Quickfire Films, and Pulse Films production, the documentary includes exclusive footage taken over the course of several years. Independent Entertainment and BMG both served as the project's producers.
It includes a return to the star's parent's house in Scotland, showing him working on his second album Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent, a heavily highly anticipated volume of work by fans. Set to release May 19th on EMI records, accompanied by a European tour with two Ireland dates.
Capaldi's first album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent, dropped on May 17th, 2019 via Vertigo Records in Europe. Topping the Irish Albums Chart, it was the second fastest-selling album in Ireland that year.
The documentary will follow him throughout what has been determined as his "defining year." An honest portrayal of the artist's struggles balancing his new-found fame and home-life, it reveals the thoughtful and self-reflective young-man behind Capaldi's music.
Lewis Capaldi was recently in Dublin, playing a humorous show at 3Arena back in late January. This summer, he's set to play at Glastonbury Festival in England. It will be headlined by the Arctic Monkeys, Guns N' Roses, and Elton John, with other big name acts like Lizzo, Blondie, Lil Nas X, and more also performing.
