The legendary frontman promises that "it will be biblical".
Liam Gallagher has announced a massive solo show next year at the site of the famous 1996 Oasis gig, Knebworth, on June 4 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic show.
The former lead singer of the Britpop legends will be playing new material, as he will release a new album entitled C’MON YOU KNOW on May 27.
Liam tweeted the news this morning, writing, "I’m absolutely buzzing to announce that on June 4, 2022 I’ll be playing Knebworth Park. It’s gonna be biblical. C’mon You Know. LG x."
Oasis' show at Knebworth was when the band's popularity peaked, playing to 250,000 fans over two nights.
It will be immortalised in a brand new documentary, Oasis Knebworth 1996, directed by Jake Scott.

In an interview with Hot Press's Stuart Clarke, he explained that he wanted to showcase the band's popularity, saying, "Oasis had this ‘lad’s band’ label, but it was very equal in terms of boys and girls. I’ve looked at the footage intimately and what comes across is the crowd’s genuine love of the band, love of the music and love of the lyrics – they know every fucking word.
I really wanted to make the film a story about the fans and their relationship with the band and vice versa and how that symbiosis occurred over two days."
Liam will be joined at his Knebworth reunion by Kasabian, Michael Kiwanuka, Fat White Family and Goat Girl.
He recently made headlines for falling out of a helicopter and subsequently having to cancel his show in Belfast.
Tickets go on sale for Liam Gallagher at Knebworth this Friday at 9 am here.
