Irish singer Lisa Hannigan covers Britney Spears' iconic 'Toxic' for the fifth season of the US TV series Fargo – listen to her rendition below.
Lisa Hannigan lends her voice to the US TV series, Fargo yet again. She featured on the seventh episode of the second season with a version of "Danny Boy". This time around she has performed a rendition of Britney Spears' 'Toxic' for the fifth season.
Season 5 will follow Dorothy "Dot" Lyon (Juno Temple), a modest housewife whose peculiar past begins to slowly unravel after she lands in trouble with local authorities. Temple will be joined on screen by Jon Hamm, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Joe Keery, Lamorne Morris, Richa Moorjani, David Rysdahl, Dave Foley, and Sam Spruel.
The soundtrack for the season featuring Hannigan appeared on streaming services this week.
Hannigan took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the experience:
