Star's service will land via Disney+ on February 23, becoming the sixth brand to launch on the platform. It joins Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic and Disney; doubling the content available.
Classic shows such as 24, Lost and Desperate Housewives are set to land on Disney+ via their new service Star.
The new element for the platform will double the amount of content available on the streaming service and also include films and series the studio owns through its acquisition of 20th Century Fox.
"Star becomes the home for general entertainment and will double the amount of content available to watch on Disney+," the brand stated.
"It will become home to thousands of hours of television and movies from Disney's creative studios, including Disney Television Studios, FX, 20th Century Studios and 20th Television."
It will be available through a pin-service to enable family content to be separate from more mature content for adults.

"The app will be updated to include easy-to-use parental controls to ensure that Disney+ is suitable for audiences of all ages," Disney added.
"People will be able to set limits on access to content for specific profiles based on content ratings and add a PIN to lock profiles with access to mature content."
The service also announced two series that they are calling 'Star Originals'; Big Sky and Love Victor - the latter of which is a spin-off series of 2018 movie Love, Simon.
A plethora of other classic films and shows owned by Disney will also be added to the service.
All seasons of classic Kiefer Sutherland thriller series 24 will be coming to the platform, along with iconic mystery series Lost, sci-fi series The X Files and suburban comedy drama Desperate Housewives.
How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, Black-ish, Atlanta and the classic Bruce Willis action franchise Die Hard are also included in the new service.
Star arrives on Disney+ on February 23, 2021.
