D'Arcy's guests for the night include Brian Kennedy, Senator David Norris and Alison Spittle, among others.
This Saturday's Ray D'Arcy Show on RTÉ One is set to be one to remember. Among the guests is legendary Belfast musician Brian Kennedy, who will be discussing his battle with cancer, as well as singing a song on the couch.
The main music performance will come from Wexford-raised singer-songwriter Maverick Sabre, who will perform 'Glory' from his upcoming album, When I Wake Up. The independently released project marks a new departure for Sabre, as he gains the freedom to creatively express himself like never before. Over the last few months, he has shared videos for the singles, 'Drifting', 'Slow Down' featuring Jorja Smith and 'Her Grace' featuring Chronixx.
D'Arcy's other guests include Senator David Norris, Alison Spittle and Derek Burke of Crystal Swing, who will all be discussing their experiences on RTÉ One's Celebrity Globetrotters, which is set to premiere later this month.
Kerry Katona is also set to appear, as is former postman Tony O'Reilly, who was sentenced to four years in jail with one year suspended after stealing from An Post, in order to fund his gambling addiction. O'Reilly's book, Tony 10, was co-written by Declan Lynch, who talked to Hot Press about the incredible story back in May.
