Mubi has revealed the trailer for upcoming movie Bring Them Down, starring Barry Keoghan and Christopher Abbott.
The film is set to release in the UK and Ireland on February 7. This thriller marks the directorial debut of writer and director Chrisopher Andrews. The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and was also shown at the 2024 BFI London Film Festival.
Taking place in rural West Ireland, the film follows two sons of rival families. Micheal, played by Abbott, lives an isolated life on his farm when Keoghan’s character, Jack, stirs up old tensions. The feud escalates, triggering a violent turn of events.
Bring Them Down won the Douglas Hickox Award (Best Debut Director) at the 2024 British Independent Film Awards and was longlisted for the Outstanding Debut BAFTA. Viewers may recognize Keoghan from his roles in Saltburn and The Banshees of Inisherin, and Abbott from Poor Things and Girls.
