The hugely popular Netflix series is gearing up for its series 4 return.
Stranger Things has revealed the first look at its fourth series. The sci-fi/fantasy drama, starring Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour, centres around the Midwestern town of Hawkins, Indiana in the 1980s, and a group of kids who discover a dark secret lurking beneath their town.
Since its release in 2016, Stranger Things has become a global phenomenon, garnering over 65 award wins and 175 nominations, including from the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys, SAG, DGA, and BAFTA, among many others. The three-time Emmy Award Nominee for Best Drama is one of Netflix’s most watched titles, with Series 3 alone amassing 40.7 million household accounts in its first four days.
Created by The Duffer Brothers and produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment, production is currently underway on the fourth series of the show. Netflix has released an eerie teaser for the series, centred on Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown). It follows an early teaser, released on Valentine's Day of 2020.
Jamie Campbell Bower (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows), Eduardo Franco (Booksmart) and Joseph Quinn (Dickensian) are all joining the regular cast members in currently undisclosed roles. The plot of the series is also still under wraps, and no release date has been announced.
