Reeves recently completed production on Matrix 4, and will begin production on John Wick 4 this Spring.
Netflix has confirmed that the streaming platform will adapt Keanu Reeves' new BRZRKR comic book series into a live-action film and a sequel anime series.
Reeves will star and produce both the live-action film and will voice his character in the sequel anime, the company confirmed today.
BRZRKR is a new 12-issue series from Boom Studios co-written by Reeves himself and Matt Kindt (Folklords, Justice League of America) with art by Marvel artist Ron Garney. Colours were created by Bill Crabtree, letters by Clem Robins, and character designs and covers by Rafael Grampá.
The first issue of the comic book was released earlier in March, but there is no release date announced yet for either adaptation.
The action comic follows an immortal berserker - who bears a striking resemblance to Reeves, incidentally - over his 80,000 year life, culminating in the present day, where he works for the US government in exchange for help discovering the secrets of his life and how he can finally die.

With help from Reeves, BRZRKR was a massive crowdfunding success, raising nearly $2 million between Kickstarter and additional funding before the first issue even hit shelves. The series has so far sold has more than 615,000 copies, making it the second-most sold comic book in the last decade - after Marvel’s 2015 Star Wars #1 relaunch.
BRZRKR is the highest-profile project to come from Netflix’s recent first-look deal with Boom Studios, which gives the streaming service the first shot at adapting comics from the indie publisher.
Exciting news! Netflix is developing a live action film AND follow-up anime series based on Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR, a brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages. Reeves will produce and star in the film, and voice the anime. pic.twitter.com/RVWEuBCXTJ
