Check out the sneak preview into the mysterious small town of Bodkin below.
Netflix has today released a behind the scenes look at the making of Bodkin, which includes location shots and interviews with cast members and showrunners Alex Metcalf and Jez Scharf.
Over seven episodes, Bodkin centres on a group of podcasters and town locals, starring Siobhán Cullen (Dove), Robyn Cara (Emmy), Chris Walley (Sean O’Shea), David Wilmot (Seamus) and Will Forte (Gilbert).
Set in the quaint, coastal town of Bodkin, the series follows a motley crew of podcasters (Forte, Cullen, Cara) who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three people. Once they start pulling at threads, they slowly uncover a story much greater and stranger than they could have ever imagined.
As the crew tries to discern fact from fiction - about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves - Bodkin challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to validate our beliefs and fears.
The series was filmed in various locations across Ireland including Union Hall Village, Drumadoon Pier, Poulgorm Bridge and Glandore in West Cork; Ardmore Studios, Belmont Demesne, Carnegie Library - Enniskerry, Sallygap and Travelahawk Beach in Wicklow; Fenian Street, Howth Village, Howth Castle and Leopardstown Racecourse in Dublin; and Dave’s Diner in Julianstown, Co Meath.
