Disney+ has announced two new BTS documentaries that will premiere on the streaming platform next year.
BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star is set to shine a light on the seven-piece's nine-year-long journey from 2013 until today.
The "music docu-series" will be available as an exclusive Disney+ original. It will feature "unprecedented access" and unreleased footage of "21st century pop icons BTS".
The documentary will also follow the daily lives, thoughts and plans of the South Korean supergroup who currently "prepare for their second chapter".

In addition, a solo documentary about BTS member J-hope (real name: Jung Ho-seok) is currently in production. While its title has not yet been confirmed, Disney+ shared that the project will show "pop star J-hope in the lead-up to his recently released solo album", namely Jack In The Box.
The rapper's debut studio album dropped in July 2022 and features 10 tracks, including singles 'More' and 'Arson'.
The series is set to revolve around the production process of the album and include behind-the-scenes footage of its listening party, as well as of J-Hope's electric performance at Lollapalooza 2022.
Disney+ unveiled both documentaries earlier today, alongside a number of upcoming productions that will premiere on the streaming site in 2023. Information on more specific release dates and episode count will be made available in the coming months.
