Production is underway on the Bruce Springsteen biopic based on the Nebraska era.
A first look at the new biopic Deliver Me From Nowhere, has confirmed Jeremy Allen White, star of The Bear, as the lead role of Bruce Springsteen. Production has officially started on the biopic directed by Scott Cooper, and is based on Warren Zanes’ book which depicted Springsteen’s period of turmoil that spurred him on to create his album Nebraska.
It was announced this month that Jersey Boys actor Johnny Cannizzaro will play the role of Steven Van Zandt. The production will also feature Odessa Young, Paul Walter Hauser, and Harrison Sloan Gilbertson.
Springsteen and his manager are reportedly involved in the filmmaking process.
The 20-time Grammy winner was born in New Jersey in 1949 and has sold more than 140 million albums worldwide.
The musician has also won two Golden Globes and an Oscar.

Springsteen was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999. The artist performed at Croke Park on the E Street Band's Irish tour during May of this year.
