New Ethan Coen film Drive Away Dolls to arrive this March
This will be Coens’ first directorial effort without his brother Joel.
Ethan Coen's new film Drive Away Dolls, starring Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan is coming to cinemas on March 15.
The movie follows Qualleys’ character Jamie, a free spirited girl who regrets breaking up with her girlfriend and Viswanathans’ character Marian who is a bit uptight and needs to relax. The two are looking for a fresh start so they take an impromptu road trip to Tallahassee. However they cross paths with a group of incompetent criminals and their trip goes amiss.
Known for her roles in the Netflix show Maid, which will be returning for a second season, as well as Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and the 2023 film Poor Things, Qualley is a well known actress and has been nominated for many Best Actress Awards from the Critics Choice Awards, the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Viswanathan is also known for her work on the show Miracle Workers as well as movies such as Blockers, Hala and The Broken Hearts Gallery.
Other cast members include Beanie Feldstein, Colman Domingo, Pedro Pascal, Bill Camp and Matt Damon. The film will be directed by Ethan Coen who is known for directing films like Fargo, The Big Lebowski and Raising Arizona. This will be Coens’ first directorial effort without his brother Joel Coen.
Drive Away Dolls was written by Coen and Tricia Cooke. The film producers include Coen Cooke, Robert Graf, Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner.
The comedy will arrive in cinemas on March 15.
