The film is directed by Coky Giedroyc (How to Build a Girl), written by Tim Firth (Calender Girls), and executive produced by Take That.
The latest trailer for the new Take That film, Greatest Days, features Kildare-born actress Aisling Bea. The film is an adaptation of the stage musical The Band and will be released on June 16.
Billed as "a feel-good, universal story of love and friendship featuring the hit songs of Take That," the film will tell the story of five childhood friends that all share the same interest for the boyband. After Take That announce a comeback tour, the friends are reuniting to see their favourite boyband live.

The film's synopsis read: "Greatest Days follows five best friends who have the night of their lives seeing their favourite boy band in concert. Twenty-five years later, their lives have changed in many different ways as they reunite for one more epic show by their beloved band, to relight their friendship, and discover that maybe their greatest days are ahead of them."
Greatest Days is produced by Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, and Howard Donald. Aside from the Irish actress Bea, the film stars Alice Lowe (Black Mirror), Amaka Okafor (The Responder), Jayde Adams (The Outlaws), Lara McDonnell (Belfast), Marc Wootton (Nativity!), and Jessie Mae Alonzo (Little Joe).

The film will be shown at a special event in London on June 15, which will be accompanied by a performance by Take That. Fans can see the performance during the premiere at preview events held exclusively in Irish cinemas.
