The BAFTA TV Awards have released the full line-up of this year's nominees, with It's A Sin leading the pack.
The British Academy Television Awards shared the full list of nominees for this year's ceremony with Irish stars Niamh Algar, Aisling Bea, Denise Gough and Graham Norton among the honourees.
Algar is nominated for Leading Actress for her performance in Channel 4's drama Deceit. Gough is nominated in the same category for her performance in the ITV legal drama Too Close.
Bea has received a nod for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme for Channel 4's This Way Up. Norton has received yet another nomination for Comedy Entertainment Programme and Comedy Entertainment Performance for The Graham Norton Show.
Last year, Algar sat down with Hot Press' Stuart Clark to discuss big budget projects with Ridley Scott and Guy Ritchie, her indie roots, a whip-smart horror film that delighted cinephiles, retro gore, dream roles, horse-riding, Stephen Graham and director Prano Bailey-Bond.
"Horror now is just another way of enticing audiences in so that you can tell a story. I took this film because I fell in love with both the story and the character – I hadn’t seen a woman represented on screen like that. Enid is not someone who’s trying to be liked. She’s incredibly quirky and different but also it was educating me about video nasties and the freedom of expression battles they were part of. I thought what Prano did with the story was incredibly bold," Algar said.

The Channel 4 drama It's A Sin led the pack with the most nominations including: Best Mini-Series, Leading Actress (Lydia West), Leading Actor (Olly Alexander), Supporting Actor (Callum Scott Howells), Writer: Drama (Kayleigh Llewellyn), and Director: Fiction (Peter Hoar).
The mini-series follows friends Ritchie, Colin and Roscoe as they leave their home to start a new life in London. However, before they realise it, they find themselves struck by a virus that leaves them ignored by most of the world.
