Coughlan’s fundraisers have received donations from over 82,000 contributors globally.
Irish actor and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has raised over $1.9 million (€1.7 million) for various Palestinian causes over the last seven months.
Over the course of five fundraisers on Instagram, the Bridgerton and Derry Girls actor has raised €1.7 million for the Falasteen Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), ActionAid UK, and Medical Aid For Palestine.
The Instagram fundraisers have in total raised 1.7 million for the Palestinian charities with her most recent fundraiser for the Medical Aid for Palestine raising €70,000 alone.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Coughlan said: "My last fundraiser has just ended and I want to thank you so much for raising an incredible €70,000 for Medical Aid for Palestine.
Wanted to set up a new one today to benefit the Palestinian Children Relief Fund".

It was later revealed in an Instagram story which has since expired that Coughlan's fundraisers since October 7 have raised an accumulative $1.9 million for various Palestinian charities.
Coughlan’s initiative garnered support from over 82,000 contributors globally, including herself.
The actor has made waves for her wearing of ran‘Artist for Ceasefire’ pin during her Bridgerton press tour.
Coughlan said her family lived in Jerusalem in the late 1970s when her father served in the Irish Army and he was part of an organization that supported efforts to broker peace in the Middle East.
“It’s very important for me because I feel like I’m a very privileged person”, she said.
