Galway actress Nicola Coughlan has taken home Harper's Bazaar Award for Woman of the Year for her television acting.
The Derry Girls and leading Bridgerton actor won big at the awards in London last night, elegantly dressed in a stunning Dior gown and sporting her trademark red Artists4Ceasfire pin.

Nicola was joined on the red carpet by her fellow winners, Raye who picked up the musician award, Victoria Beckham who won the entrepreneur awards and Sophie Turner who left with an award for performance.
Beyond her acting career, Nicola has received praise for her fundraising efforts to provide medical aid to Palestine, with her family's history in Jerusalem, shaped by her father's military career, deeply influencing her admirable work. Speaking of her advocacy, "There's so many eyes on me right now and what I can do is hopefully raise money for people in need", Nicola told Hot Press.
