The Nine Inch Nails duo have scored many films together, including Gone Girl, Waves and The Social Network.
Lead vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Trent Reznor and producer/composer Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails have released an original score for upcoming movie Bones and All.
The feature film reunites director Luca Guadagnino and star Timothée Chalamet after 2017 film Call Me By Your Name. It is a coming-of-age story of two teenage cannibals in 1980s America, involving gore, romance and drama, also starring Taylor Russell (Waves, The Heart Still Hums), who won the Marcello Mastroianni Award for Best Young Actor at this year’s Venice Film Festival.
The screenplay is by David Kajganich (Suspiria, A Bigger Splash), based on the novel by Camille DeAngelis.
Bones and All is a story of first love between Maren (Russell), a young woman learning how to survive on the margins of society, and Lee (Chalamet), an intense and disenfranchised drifter… as they meet and join together for a thousand-mile odyssey which takes them through the back roads, hidden passages and trap doors of Ronald Reagan’s America. But despite their best efforts, all roads lead back to their terrifying pasts and to a final stand that will determine whether their love can survive their otherness.
Reznor and Ross have done a number of film scores together. Most recently was 2020's Mank and Soul. The duo also scored Gone Girl and Waves, which features Taylor Russell, Chalamet's costar in Bones and All. They won the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score of The Social Network in 2011.
