An upcoming docuseries on Marilyn Manson is set to debut on Channel 4 on January 14.
Titled Marilyn Manson: Unmasked, the three part series will run on consecutive evenings, with the last episode airing on Thursday, January 16.
As well as covering the shock-rocker's rise and success as a musician, the documentary will casts an eye on the sexual assault allegations made against the singer, whose real name Brian Hugh Warner, in February 2021.
"From his meteoric rise as the self-proclaimed 'Antichrist Superstar' to the chilling abuse allegations that have engulfed his career, this series dives deep into Manson’s world to separate fact from fiction, " reads the logline of the first episode.
"From his shocking stage antics to his offensive backstage behaviour, Manson became a lightning rod for moral panic. Accused by many of being a malign influence on American youth, he faced backlash for allegedly inspiring violence, including the Columbine High School massacre.
"Manson used the controversy to position himself as a misunderstood artist and an advocate for listening to disillusioned youth."

The remaining episodes explore the allegations made against Manson, and the subsequent fallout. Episode 2 features an interview with the rockstar's ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood, who accused him of "horrific" abuse in 2021.
“He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years," Wood said five years ago. "I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”
A number of women proceeded to claim that Manson sexually assaulted or physically abused them, including model Ashely Morgan Smithline, actor Esmé Bianco and his ex-assistant Ashley Walters. Manson strongly denied any allegations and filed a defamation case against Wood, though Deadline reported that it was dropped last year, with Manson agreeing to pay her over €300,000 in legal costs.
