Other Voices is finally returning to Irish television screens on April 14th, primed and ready to celebrate its twentieth series.

The show will run for six weeks on RTÉ2 and will be packed with exclusive interviews and performances from the world's most exciting musical stars. Annie MacManus, MayKay, and Huw Stephens will also be returning as hosts.

Week one kicks off with Irish superstar Dermot Kennedy, RTÉ Choice Music Prize nominee Orla Gartland, and Dublin rock band Sprints.

Subsequent episodes will feature international acts including Kay Young, Sigrid, Sam Fender, and John Grant. Sheriff Street R&B act Gemma Dunleavy, Tolü Makay, Villagers, David Keenan HousePlants, Mango x Mathman, Tebi Rex, Aimee and more Irish talent will take to the stage.

The series finale will celebrate Irish music icon Damien Dempsey and will look back at some of his biggest moments over the last two decades including his first performance from Other Voices series 1.

“In this our twentieth year, it is again a delight and a privilege to host Ireland’s and some of the world’s most exciting musicians and artists in the beautiful town of Dingle, West Kerry, right at the edge of Europe,” says Voices Founder Philip King. “The music captured is uplifting and inspirational and it’s a joy to share this music with everybody on RTÉ2 television and with the world on the RTÉ Player.”

RTÉ Executive Producer Justin Healy also expressed his enthusiasm for the series, saying: “It’s with great excitement that we can look forward to a new series of Other Voices. Not only is it the 20th year of this very special music festival, but audiences can expect an incredible lineup of both Irish and International artists, in what promises to be the strongest series yet”.

Other Voices' 20th series starts on Thursday 14 April at 11pm on RTÉ2 and will be available internationally on the RTÉ Player.
