The cast for Matt Reeves' The Batman is slowly forming.
The villain to Robert Pattinson's Bruce Wayne is finally found! After news broke yesterday that Jonah Hill pulled out of negotiations, it was now confirmed that Paul Dano will play famous Batman villain The Riddler.
Jonah Hill was reportedly in talks to play either The Riddler or The Penguin before he dropped out of the film because "Warner and the actor were too far apart on a deal".
As The Hollywood Reporter reveals, Warner now confirmed that Dano will take on the role of the criminal mastermind, previously portrayed by Jim Carrey in 1995's Batman Forever.
Just as he did when it was announced that Zoë Kravitz will play Catwoman, director Matt Reeves took to Twitter again to share a GIF of Paul Dano accompanied by #EdwardNashton, the real name of The Riddler.
