The trailer is laced with different takes of the Beatles’ music, with the bass-heavy 'Come Together' utilised as the main soundtrack.
Paul McCartney has hinted at an upcoming “documentary event" with producer Rick Rubin with a new teaser trailer for the mysterious project.
The Beatles legend releases his McCartney III this Friday, and discusses the Fab Four and the power of the bass guitar in the new trailer.
“We realised we were writing songs that were memorable, not because wanted them to be memorable, but because we had to remember them,” McCartney tells Rubin of The Beatles music.
While McCartney did not shared any other details about the documentary event, Deadline reported that the project is “a six-part documentary series that will amount to a behind-the-scenes mystery tour of McCartney’s eclectic and long-lasting musical journey.
Rubin will explore the life and musicianship of McCartney, from his first guitar and composition all the way to through the legendary and prolific success of the Beatles.
