Hot on the heels of All of Us Strangers was Molly Manning Walker’s directorial debut How To Have Sex which took home three awards in total.
The synopsis of the film reads: "One night in his near-empty tower block in contemporary London, Adam has a chance encounter with a mysterious neighbour, Harry, which punctures the rhythm of his everyday life. As a relationship develops between them, Adam is preoccupied with memories of the past and finds himself drawn back to the suburban town where he grew up, and the childhood home where his parents appear to be living, just as they were on the day they died, 30 years before."
All of us Strangers has gotten much attention within the film festival circuit, after its Irish premiere at the Cork International Film Festival. It has gained nominations from various film festivals including the Gotham Independent Film Awards and the Chicago International Film Festival and is due to release in Irish cinemas in the New Year on 26th January 2024.
