"We're putting it together now," said Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, on the upcoming film.
Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight has hinted at the series continuing beyond its highly-anticipated Netlfix film, The Immortal Man.
Appearing on BBC Breakfast this morning, Knight said, "It's a very fitting way to end this part of the Peaky story."
"It's not over, let's just put it that way," Knight continued when pressed about the series' future. "I'm not allowed to announce it, but I'm just saying, the world of Peaky will continue."
The Immortal Man is a feature-length continuation of Knight's gritty gang drama set in early 1900s Birmingham. Cillian Murphy will reprise his role as the mob boss Thomas Shelby, joined by Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, and Tim Roth.
The film began shooting in September 2024, and Knight confirmed that production concluded in December. It will be distributed by Netflix, who own international distribution rights to the television series.

"The stuff that I'm watching - the rushes, the assemblies - no one will be disappointed," Knight said. "It is quite an incredible thing."
Across its six seasons, running for nearly ten years from 2013 to 2022, Peaky Blinders received widespread critical acclaim and won Best Drama Series at the 2018 BAFTAs.
No release date for The Immortal Man has been announced.
