Apple TV+ has announced a brand-new eight-episode song battle series called KPopped.
With Lionel Richie a executive producer, the show stars 'Gangnam Style' singer PSY, and three-time Grammy award-winning singer Megan Thee Stallion.
Apple TV+ explained the premise of the show: "In each episode, western icons reimagine one of their biggest hits, collaborating with top-tier K-pop idols to deliver spectacular battle performances, with a live Seoul-based audience picking the winner of the best new K-popped song."

Megan Thee Stallion will serve as an executive producer and is set to perform her hit song 'Savage' on the show.
Alongside Richie and Thee Stallion, the unscripted competition series is executive produced by Moira Ross, Miky Lee, and Greg Foster. Also joined by Harry H.K. Shin and Jake Hong, with producer Ki-woong Kim.
The platform has previously demonstrated interest in the Korean pop music genre (K-Pop) with its recently released documentary series K-Pop Idols in 2024.
