Australian actress Rebel Wilson has announced that she's welcomed her first child, Royce Lillian. The Pitch Perfect star had the baby via surrogate this past week, she shared.

"I can't even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle! I am forever grateful to everyone who has been involved, (you know who you are), this has been years in the making…" the 42-year-old wrote on Instagram along with an adorable snap of her daughter.

"Particularly wanted to thank my gorgeous surrogate who carried her and birthed her with such grace and care. Thank you for helping me start my own family, it’s an amazing gift. The BEST gift!!" she continued. "I am ready to give little Roycie all the love imaginable. I am learning quickly…much respect to all the Mums out there! Proud to be in your club."

Earlier this year, Wilson came out to the public after being "threatened" by an Australian journalist at The Sydney Morning Herald. She announced her relationship with designer Ramona Agruma on Instagram, calling her a "Disney princess."

The herald got severe pushback for their behavior, and support flooded to both Wilson and Agruma. The journalist Andrew Hornery later published an apology.
