The documentary will air on RTÉ One on Sunday at 9.30pm.

A special documentary about Gerry Ryan will air on RTÉ One this Sunday, ten years after his sudden death.

Gerry Ryan - A Legacy uses unseen archive footage and contributions from close friends and family to provide a unique insight into the iconic presenter's life and career. It pieces together his beginnings, the highs and lows of his career and finally what his legacy is and how he should be remembered. Contributors include brother Mano Ryan and friends Dave Fanning, Joe Duffy, Harry Crosbie and Fiona Looney.
