The award show season is in full swing. Today the nominations for the 77th Golden Globes were revealed - and two Irish actors made the list.

Saoirse Ronan received a nomination for 'Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama' for her portrayal of Jo March in Greta Gerwig's Little Women which is also nominated for 'Best Original Score'.

Another Irish actor who has the chance to win a Golden Globe is Andrew Scott who is nominated in the category 'Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television' for his performance as the 'Hot Priest' in Fleabag.

In the film categories, Noah Baumbach's Marriage Story swept six nominations, followed by Scorsese's The Irishman and Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The TV nominees are led by Chernobyl, The Crown and Unbelievable who all received four nominations.
