It’s an amazing time to be telling Irish stories. Being able to shoot at home with an Irish crew - who are some of the best in the world - is always incredibly special to me.”
Some of the Irish TV dramas that were made possible by Screen Ireland funding and will be released in the coming year include The Hardacres and The Dry. All of the dramas were created in partnership with groups like RTÉ Virgin Media, TG4 and many other international broadcasters.
