"The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false," 'Sex and the City' star Chris Noth said today. Trigger warning: sexual violence.
Chris Noth has been accused of sexual assault by two women after HBO Max’s Sex and the City sequel series And Just Like That aired globally.
Zoe, now 40, and Lily, now 31, both separately claimed to The Hollywood Reporter that they were sexually assaulted by the actor, who became a household name after starring as Mr Big in the hit television series. The two women spoke to the publication months apart, and do not know each other. Both said promotions and press reports of And Just Like That stirred painful memories of incidents they say occurred in Los Angeles in 2004 and in New York in 2015.
Lily was a 25-year-old server at the time, while Zoe was a 22-year-old college student. Both women sought medical treatment and counselling following the alleged events, which are told in harrowing detail and are supported by recollections from family, therapists and friends.

Chris Noth has since a released a statement, which reads: “The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false. These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. The encounters were consensual. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”
