The Swarm‘s Twitter account announced an original music video that will be released with the series on Friday 17th March.
Over a month ago, Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, shared the first teaser for his new series Swarm. A new trailer reveals more details about the horror series and features snippets from an upcoming song by Kirby and the American rapper.
Furthermore, a whole EP was announced on Twitter, which will be released with the series on 17th March.
In the two teaser for Amazon Prime's upcoming horror series, which is co-created by Atlanta writer Janine Nabers, two surprising snippets can be heard.

Back in January, Glover spoke about the current situation surrounding his musical alter ego, Childish Gambino. During an interview at the 2023 Golden Globes, Glover told Laveren Cox that he is "making music right now".
"I love it. I‘m in the studio, I‘ve been bringing people in, secret people, and working on things."
The horror series, starring Dominique Fishback, is about Dre, "a young woman whose obsession with a pop star takes a dark turn.“ It includes musician Chloe Bailey (of Chloe x Halle) in the role of Dre‘s sister and Damson Idris as Dre‘s boyfriend.
Swarm is produced by big parts of the team who have worked on the comedy-drama Atlanta. The hit series, which follows the college dropout and music manager Earnest Marks, ended last year after four successful seasons. According to writer Janine Nabers, Swarm lives "in the same tonal space" and therefore feels like "a sister to Atlanta."

Childish Gambino's latest musical release was in 2020, when he shared his album 3.15.20. We said about the album in an 8/10 review: "It pours from your speakers like sunshine - a glimmer of grace amidst the catharsis," a description that, if you listen to the snippet, probably also applies to the new song featuring Gambino.
Kirby is known for her performances with music legends such as Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney. As an independent artist, she released her first album, Sis, in 2020. Her songwriter credits include artists like Beyoncé, Ariana Grande, and John Legend.
