Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley bare all in Rainey's 'Love Me Like You Hate Me' music video
The video was produced by Shia’s longtime collaborator, British artist Luke Turner, and choreographed by LA-based dance duo JA Collective, with cinematography by Natasha Braier.
Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley have stripped down for the Rainsford's brand new music video for her latest track, 'Love Me Like You Hate Me'.
Rainsford, AKA Rainey Qualley, is the sister of Margaret Qualley. The visuals depict LaBeouf and Qualley as a couple, depicting stages of their relationship using a split-screen format.
At various points throughout the video, the actors appear fully nude and participate in an artful sex scene.
“The 10-minute split-screen film portrays the tenderness and toxicity of a relationship, presented from the dual, and at times conflicting, perspectives of a couple,” a press release comments.
“With a gently disorientating structure, the piece builds towards an open-ended resolution that loops back on itself, returning us to where we began.”
Cinematographer Natasha Braier is known for utilising creative and surrealistic stories with a type of otherworldly dimension.
Braier previously shot Nicolas Winding Refn‘s The Neon Demon like an alternate, dreamlike version of our world before it becomes a blood-soaking nightmare.
Braier also previously worked with LaBeouf in last year’s film festival favourite, 'Honey Boy'.
Margaret Qualley has also worked as a choreographer for two music videos for Norwegian producer Cashmere Cat, and as part of Olivia Wilde‘s music-heavy short film Wake Up.
LaBeouf also made waves for his electric performance in the unique music video for Sia‘s 'Elastic Heart'.
Margaret Qualley has also given phenomenal performances in critically-acclaimed projects The Leftovers and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Rainsford, also an actress, began releasing music in 2015. This year, she has released the singles '2 Cents' and 'Crying in the Mirror'.
