Stranger Things season four will be released in two volumes, the first of which will be released next month.
Netflix have unveiled the first trailer for Stranger Things' highly anticipated fourth season. The first part of the series, Volume 1, will be available to watch May 27th, with Volume 2 dropping on July 1st.
Dark and spiraling, the teaser displays all the hallmark signs of a Strangers Things series — gore, supernatural creatures and a heavy dose '80s of teenage drama.
Opening with a shot of Max talking to the grave of her brother, Billy, the trailer reveals what has happened in the aftermath of Season 3. Having relocated away from Hawkins, the gang have tried to return to normalcy, despite being haunted by the horrors of their pasts. Rife with new monsters, eerie mysteries and mounting secrets, the kids will have to navigate new challenges as the puzzle unfolds.
Confirmed by the show's creators as the penultimate season, the show will star the same crew seen in the first three series; Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, and Maya Hawke, as well as Joseph Quinn as new character Eddie Munson.
