Promoting their 2022 album Being Funny In A Foreign Language, The 1975 will perform as musical guest stars for Saturday Night Live next month as Wednesday actress Jenna Ortega hosts
English rock band The 1975 are making their way to New York next month to perform as the musical guest stars of hit comedic skit show, Saturday Night Live.
The March 11th show, which will be hosted by Wednesday Netflix star Jenna Ortega, will be their second time playing for SNL. It will be Ortega's first time hosting.
The announcement came through Saturday Night Live's Twitter, where they included the upcoming line-up their next three shows.
February 25th will see actor Woody Harrelson host with performances by rock artist Jack White, and March 4th will see American football player Travis Kelce host with musical guest star and pop singer Kelsea Ballerini.

The English pop rockers will be promoting their 2022 album, Being Funny in a Foreign Language, produced by Jack Antonoff. The performance for SNL will be a brief pause in their 'At Their Very Best' tour before they continue across the European continent and the UK.
It's been 7 years since the rocking quartet last performed on SNL. Last time, the guest host was American comedian Larry David, who received a warm hug from the band and longtime SNL actress Kate McKinnon as a part of the opening gimmick.
The band also performed 'The Sound' and 'Love Me' from their second album I Like It When You Sleepl, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It.
