The new Killers' live film expands on their 2021 release Pressure Machine.
The Killers have shared their new live film Notes From A Quiet Town. The 33-minute film sees the Las Vegas outfit in Nephi, Utah where frontman Brandon Flowers lived between the ages of eight and 16.
The documentary features stripped-back performances of the band's 2021 album Pressure Machine – a concept record about Flowers' childhood in the town. A deluxe edition of the record will be released tomorrow (March 25).
Along with stripped back performances of tracks 'Cody', 'Terrible Thing' and 'Quiet Town' the film will feature interviews with locals. Watch the film below
Upon its release, Hot Press' Kate Brayden gave a glowing review of Pressure Machine saying: "Beautiful, conceptualised lyrics and soundbites from small town folk permeate Pressure Machine, referencing opioid addiction, divorce, poverty and religion. Writing from the perspective of Nephi’s residents, from a young bride destined never to leave the town, to hunters and workers from the automotive industry; each song tells a unique tale. The limits of a quiet, sleepy town can appear melancholy from the outside, yet The Killers perfectly highlight the strength and beauty of their authentic homeland."
The forthcoming expanded version of the LP includes alternate version of 'West Hills', 'The Getting By' and the Phoebe Bridgers duet 'Runaway Horses'.

Revisit a classic Hot Press interview with The Killers originally published in 2004 where the outfit chats with Stuart Clark about down-time in Utah, texting Charlize Theron, Hanging with Elton John and a Bowie tribute.
"It’s been one amazing thing after another,” Flowers said. “Gold discs, being sat between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Geri Halliwell on The Jonathan Ross Show and looking up at Irving Plaza in New York and seeing David Bowie singing along to ‘Mr. Brightside’. I couldn’t believe it! Afterwards he complimented every single one of us individually, and said that he could hear the whole history of rock ‘n’ roll in our songs. He’s a hell of a musician and a hell of a nice guy. Elton John’s the same – he’s actually coming to our Manchester show tomorrow which is a follow on from us doing a TV special with him in Paris.”
