Chalamet – who is due to star in two highly anticipated films in 2021 (Dune and Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch) – and Guadagnino have considered several ways to reunite following Call Me By Your Name's remarkable success, but scheduling conflicts always hindered the pair. The drama, based on a novel of the same name by André Aciman, went on to earn several Oscar nominations including Best Actor for Chalamet and Best Picture.
