The Grammy and Oscar-winning musician, poet and actor reunites with Martin McDonagh for the first time since Seven Psychopaths in 2012.
Tom Waits has joined the cast of Martin McDonagh's upcoming film, Wild Horse Nine.
Alongside the musician, Latin American actresses Mariana di Girolamo, Poala Giannini and Ailín Salas will also feature in the film.
John Malkovich, Mark Ruffalo and Sam Rockwell were revealed to star in the project earlier this year, which has started production on the Pacific island of Rapa Nui, commonly known as Easter Island.
The plot of Wild Horse Nine has not been revealed.
McDonagh, originally a playwright, debuted his filmmaking skills with Six Shooter, which won Best Short Film at the 2006 Academy Awards. His most recent film, The Banshees of Inisherin, starring Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farrell, was nominated for nine Oscars.
