Following its unmissable premiere last Friday, Uprising returns to our screens tonight, January 19, with a brand new episode! The next instalment in our four-part music series, produced in association with Hot Press, airs at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
There's no shortage of stars in Episode Two – with thrilling performances from Denise Chaila, Picture This, Inhaler, Mik Pyro and Susan O'Neill.
In a marvellous interview, Denise Chaila, talks openly and honestly about her life and work to presenter, Katja Mia – and delivers two outstanding tracks live.

Meanwhile Hot Press assistant editor, Stuart Clarke, goes backstage at Slane Castle to chat to Inhaler before the biggest gig of their lives –and hears how they deal with the inevitable nerves on the big occasions they are increasingly part of.

Presented by Katja Mia, with Hot Press deputy editor Stuart Clark taking on the role of roving interviewer, Uprising showcases some of the finest talents on the Irish music scene right now. Across four powerful episodes, filmed at The Complex in Dublin’s North inner-city, there’ll be performances from bright new talents and established stars alike, as well as topical discussions, outspoken opinions – and, of course, lots of fun.
