Get ready for the fourth and final episode of Uprising – tonight on Virgin Media One. It's going to be a real cracker!
Prepare yourself for a phenomenal night of genre-transcending Irish music – as we cap off Uprising in style! The final episode of the lauded four-part music show – produced in association with Hot Press – airs at 9pm tonight on Virgin Media One, with a thrilling array of acts set to perform, including Imelda May, The Coronas, HamsandwicH & Shobsy, Junior Brother and Tolü Makay.
Among the many highlights of the action-packed Episode 4 is Imelda May's marvellous version of Brendan Behan's ‘The Laughing Boy’, as well as one of her own powerful spoken word pieces, ‘Liberty Belle’. She also chats to presenter Katja Mia about the importance of constantly challenging herself.
You can also look forward to an Uprising exclusive, as HamsandwicH collaborate with Shobsy for two special performances – and the band discuss a remarkable two decades in music.

“The live performances throughout Uprising have been really marvellous,” Hot Press editor Niall Stokes says. “But the unique collaboration we curated between HamsandwicH and Shobsy is something we’re especially proud of. It is a special moment in Irish music and a great treasure – among many – in the final episode of this series of Uprising.”
