Watch the trailer for Paul Duane's highly anticipated film – featuring a score by Lankum's Ian Lynch – below.
The official trailer for All You Need Is Death has been released, ahead of the Irish folk horror film's theatrical release this spring.
The film – which is director Paul Duane's feature fiction debut – follows a young couple who "believe that living, modern alchemy is contained in old, forgotten songs", according to XYZ Films' description.
"When they find an elderly, mysterious woman who sings songs that have never been heard before, they open the door to an ancient evil and madness," the blurb continues.
The film stars Simone Collins, Charlie Maher, Olwen Fouéré, Barry McKiernan, Nigel O'Neill, and Catherine Siggins.
Ian Lynch of Lankum – who has done extensive research into the stranger corners of Irish folk music over the years, as documented on his Fire Draw Near podcast – composed the score for All You Need Is Death.

"It's always been my dream to score a horror film and I couldn't imagine a more suitable project," Ian wrote on social media last year, ahead of the film's world premiere at Beyond Fest in Los Angeles. "Thanks for everything Paul Duane – it was an absolute pleasure to work with you!"
Olwen Fouére also shared a post on Instagram around the same time, thanking Ian for trusting her "with the challenge of singing that song in his cracking soundscore, and to John 'Spud' Murphy [producer and engineer for Lankum, ØXN] for his expertise and encouragement on the day!"
