Virgin Media's Uprising, produced in association with Hot Press, has been nominated for a Royal Television Society award in the Audience Choice category.

Presented by 2024 RTS Breakthrough Talent Katja Mia, with Hot Press deputy editor Stuart Clark taking on the role of roving interviewer, Uprising showcased some of the finest talents in the Irish music scene.

Across four powerful episodes filmed at The Complex in Dublin’s North inner-city, the show featured performances from bright new talents and established stars alike, as well as topical discussions and outspoken opinions. Some of the names taking part included Hozier, Imelda May, Denise Chaila, Glen Hansard & Markéta Irglová, Nell Mescal, Pillow Queens, The Coronas, Villagers, Picture This, Lyra, Mik Pyro, Susan O'Neill, HamsandwicH, Tolü Makay, Junior Brother, Shobsy, Celaviedmai, and more...
