The teaser trailer for the highly anticipated new series, Conversations with Friends, has been released – featuring the central cast Alison Oliver (Frances), Sasha Lane (Bobbi), Joe Alwyn (Nick) and Jemima Kirke (Melissa), as well as an appearance from Irish singer-songwriter Loah, aka Sallay Garnett.

Directed by Lenny Abrahamson and Leanne Welham, and produced by Element Pictures, the series is an adaptation of Sally Rooney's debut novel of the same name, and is set to premiere on BBC Three, Hulu and RTÉ in Spring 2022.

Element Pictures also produced the adaptation of Rooney's second novel, Normal People, in 2020 – which was also directed by Abrahamson, alongside Hettie Macdonald.

Conversations with Friends follows Frances (Alison Oliver), a 21-year-old college student, as she navigates a series of relationships that force her to confront her own vulnerabilities for the first time.
