Tara Woods shares a first look at her upcoming docuseries exploring the life and work of gothic horror and dark fantasy director Tim Burton.
Documentarian Tara Wood has released the first trailer for her upcoming four-part docuseries on director Tim Burton.
The docuseries marks the first time Burton has supported a project about his work, and includes unpublished works, an unreleased stop-motion short film and exclusive interviews.
The project's first episode premiered at last year's Tribeca Film Festival, which was well received critically and generated anticipation for the full release.
Conversations with Burton's closest collaborators will also feature in the series, including Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Danny Elfman, Michael Keaton, Christopher Walken and more.

"Following the incredible response to Episode 1 at Tribeca and fans' voracious desire for more, I'm thrilled to announce the completion of the long-awaited Tim Burton docuseries!" Wood said.
"Tim tells his life story through his filmography, and the doc takes us on a truly inspiring journey through decades of cinematic history, filled with deep personal insights, passions, and struggles - the challenge is keeping it to four episodes!" she added.
Wood is known for her documentary work exploring the lives of filmmakers. She previously directed QT8: The First Eight which covered the work of writer and director Quentin Tarantino, and 21 Years: Richard Linklater covering Richard Linklater's work.
The docuseries full release date has not yet been announced.
