There's bad and good news respectively for Marty Whelan and Graham Norton with the latter bagging the presenter gig in Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga - Volcano Man, the Will Ferrell Eurovision pisstake, which gets its Netflix premiere on Friday June 26.
Ferrell, who shares top billing with Rachel McAdams, Demi Lovato and Pierce Brosnan, has been planning the film for twenty years as you can hear below.
The action focuses on Lars Erickssong and Sigrit Ericksdottir, a musician couple living in a remote part of Iceland whose diamante dream is to follow in ABBA, Dana, Bucks Fizz and Johnny Logan's footsteps.
"When aspiring musicians Lars (Will Ferrell) and Sigrit (Rachel McAdams) are given the opportunity of a lifetime to represent their country at the world's biggest song competition, they finally have a chance to prove that any dream is a dream worth fighting for," we're told.
The challenge will be to satirise something that is already so clearly ridiculous but, if anyone can do it, it's Ferrell whose turns in Blades Of Glory, Anchorman and Elf augur well for the project.
