An exclusive trailer for Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power heralds the beginning of increased promotion for the project.
Yesterday, Amazon released a 60-second sneak peak at their highly anticipated Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power project.
While the minute long clip is only available to those with a Prime Video subscription, a 15-second clip is circulating on the internet.

The clip includes something meteor-like streaking across the sky and a compilation of unnerved faces gazing at its blazing trail. These characters can be identified as one's introduced by Amazon in previous content teasers. Including the prince of the Dwarven kingdom, Durin IV - played by Welsh actor Owain Arthur - and a young Galadriel, portrayed by Morfydd Clark.
Technically a prequel to the J.R.R. Tolkien content popularised with The Lord of the Rings series and The Hobbit; The Rings of Power will be based on some of Tolkien's lesser known work. This will include some of the appendices the author worked on and draw heavily from his book The Silmarillion.

The show is set to air this September 2nd worldwide on Prime Video with more exclusive content arriving for members leading up to that quickly approaching date. The next teaser is set to come out on July 14th.
In Ireland, the cost of an Amazon Prime membership runs at €9.35 a month or €94 for the whole year. If you're just interested in Prime Video, it costs €7 a month.
Till September, the question on everyone's mind will continue to be:
So what’s this comet all about then? 🤔
